~ As the city of Colorado Springs continues to make improvements to its roadways, a section of South Nevada Avenue will be temporarily closed for construction. According to a press release from the city, the closure will take place overnight from Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 9 p.m. to Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 5 a.m.
The affected area is between Brookside Street and the Interstate 25 ramps, and the closure is necessary for crews to install new traffic signal and signage infrastructure over the roadway. To accommodate for this closure, detours will be in place on Tuesday night.
