~ Colorado Springs residents interested in civic leadership can apply for the 2027 Mayor's Fellowship from Oct. 1 through Oct. 31, Mayor Yemi Mobolade announced.

The program offers participants a chance to learn how city government operates, engage with city leaders and discuss issues facing the community, including public safety, infrastructure, housing, economic development and urban planning.

"The Mayor's Fellowship isn't just about learning how city government works, it's about stepping up to serve," Mobolade said, adding that the program gives residents "a seat at the table" and tools to help strengthen the city.
