Governor Polis has made it a priority to provide Colorado students with a high-quality education. As Chair of the National Governors Association, his Chairman Initiative "Let's Get Ready" focuses on ensuring that students acquire the necessary skills to succeed. This award serves as a testament to his dedication towards this goal.
Earlier this year, Governor Polis signed a bipartisan budget that fully funded schools for the first time since 2009.
