Colorado Springs: St. Patrick’s Day parade and related activities postponed

Trending...
The Parade was originally scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2020 but will now be postponed until September. The decision to postpone was made by parade organizers out of an abundance of caution around the COVID-19 virus. The City, along with El Paso County Public Health, would like to emphasize that the current situation in El Paso County remains unchanged. As of 11:30 a.m. the County still only has one case of COVID-19, and our area is not currently experiencing community spread.

"We have made the decision out of a strong interest in the health and well-being of our community to postpone this weekend's St. Patrick's Day parade and related events," said Parade Organizer John O'Donnell. "Of course, we are disappointed, but we are committed to being good stewards of our community and value the community support that this parade has long received. We are hopeful that we will be able to hold the events and parade in September as a great community celebration."
