CENTENNIAL ~ Colorado Gov. Jared Polis joined the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade and Boom Supersonic to mark the company's decision to expand its operations in the state.
The expansion centers on Boom's Superpower Superfactory, a 200,000-square-foot, two-building manufacturing campus in Centennial. The facility will make Superpower turbines and components from raw materials, combining engineering and manufacturing to increase production, according to the announcement.
Polis said the expansion would create jobs and support Colorado's economy and aerospace industry. Lt. Gov. Dianne Primavera described Boom as an important part of the state's aerospace ecosystem and said the company's growth would create more opportunities for residents.
