Membership-based primary care in Eagle gives Vail Valley residents longer visits, direct access to their providers, and functional medicine under the same roof.
EAGLE, Colo. - ColoradoDesk -- Vibrant Health of Colorado, an integrative medical practice known for combining functional medicine with comprehensive primary care, is bringing its root-cause approach to primary care to the Vail Valley through its Eagle, CO clinic. The clinic is located at 1143 Capitol St., #101A, Eagle, CO 81631, in the heart of Eagle Ranch.
Residents of Eagle, Gypsum, Edwards, Avon, Vail, and the greater Vail Valley now have a local primary care home that does more than treat symptoms. Vibrant Health's providers take time to understand the full picture of each patient's health. Then they build care around finding and addressing the root cause.
Primary Care That Goes Beyond the Basics
Comprehensive primary care at Vibrant Health covers the everyday medical needs people expect from a primary care provider. Services include wellness exams and physicals, preventive screenings, disease prevention and health maintenance, care for acute illnesses and injuries, chronic disease management, general skin concerns, and support with weight loss and nutrition.
What's different is how deeply providers look. Baseline bloodwork is often more detailed than what patients have had before. Labs are reviewed with the goal of making sure hormones, vitamin levels, and thyroid function are optimized, not just "in range." Providers also talk with patients about diet, exercise, stress, and mental health, because each of these affects long-term health.
"I brought in primary care because so many primary care providers don't understand functional medicine or hormones, and I wanted my patients to have this kind of comprehensive health approach," states Deanna Woodroffe, WHNP-BC, Founder and Clinical Director of Vibrant Health of Colorado. She continues, "We want to be more than a medical hub for our patients. We strive to be a true medical home."

Built Around Time, Access, and Relationship
Vibrant Health delivers primary care through a membership model designed to give patients more time with their providers. For a flat monthly fee, members receive longer and more personalized visits. They also get direct access to their care team through the patient portal, plus telehealth and phone consultations. Members can get same or next-day appointments for urgent concerns, excluding weekends and holidays, and wholesale pricing on lab work.
There are no copays, deductibles, or surprise bills for care with Vibrant Health providers. Consistent follow-up is built into the model, so patients are seen on a regular schedule rather than only once a year.
One Care Team for the Whole Picture
Most functional medicine practices operate separately from primary care, leaving patients to coordinate between providers who don't always agree. Vibrant Health brings both together.
The same Eagle team that manages annual labs, blood pressure, or a lingering cough can also evaluate hormone balance, thyroid function, gut health, and cardiovascular risk. Membership includes hormone optimization for women and men, functional gut health evaluation, advanced cholesterol testing, and medical weight management, alongside comprehensive primary care. Vibrant Health cares for both men and women.
Meet the Eagle Primary Care Team
Primary care in Eagle is led by two board-certified family nurse practitioners who reside in the Vail Valley.

She earned her functional medicine certification from the School of Applied Functional Medicine in 2023. Her clinical focus includes sleep, energy, gut health, hormonal balance, and weight management. Melanie lives in Vail.
Nicco Long, MSN, FNP-C, has experience in multispecialty clinics spanning cardiology, pulmonology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, gynecology, internal medicine, and primary care. She blends Western and integrative medicine. She has lived in Colorado's rural mountains for 25 years and is passionate about caring for her local community.
