~ Colorado Springs, CO- The Colorado Springs Police Department and the Colorado Springs Fire Department are teaming up with Rocky Mountain Vibes, Police Foundation of Colorado Springs, the Fire Fighters Protective Association, and Scheels for a special event on Sunday, August 17.

The first annual PD vs. FD Softball Showdown will take place immediately following the Vibes Baseball Game at UC Health Park. The Vibes game is set to start at 12:00 p.m., with the estimated start time for the softball game at 4:00 p.m.

Community members are invited to join CSPD and CSFD for a day at the ballpark as they face off in a friendly rivalry. There is no additional cost to attend the PD vs. FD Game, so fans are encouraged to come out and support both teams.

This event aims to bring together members of the community and showcase the strong partnership between these two public safety agencies. The PD vs. FD softball game will be a fun and exciting way to end a day of baseball.
