Colorado is a Leading State in Combatting Rise of Antisemitism

Trending...
DENVER ~ In a recent press release, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) recognized Colorado as a leader in the fight against antisemitism. The state was one of nine to receive this recognition, with Governor Jared Polis celebrating the news and highlighting Colorado's commitment to creating an inclusive and safe environment for all.

Governor Polis emphasized the importance of protecting Coloradans' right to live, love, and worship freely in his statement. He stated that hate and violence have no place in their state, known as "Colorado For All." He also acknowledged the concerning rise of antisemitism both nationally and globally, making it clear that there is still much work to be done.

Under Governor Polis' leadership, Colorado has taken significant steps to support faith-based communities and places of worship facing heightened threats. One such initiative is the Nonprofit Security Grant Initiative, which has awarded millions of dollars to at-risk organizations. This program provides funding for physical security enhancements and other measures for nonprofit organizations at high risk of terrorist attacks due to their ideology, beliefs, or mission.
