~ The City Council of Colorado Springs is currently searching for a new member to join the Fire Board of Appeals as a Citizen-At-Large representative. This position is appointed by the City Council for a term of three years, unless filling an unexpired vacancy.
The Fire Board of Appeals plays a crucial role in the city's fire prevention efforts. Their responsibilities include creating and adopting supplemental rules and regulations, granting variances to the Fire Prevention Code, and reviewing all administrative regulations and policies related to the enforcement and interpretation of the Fire Code.
