DENVER - ColoradoDesk -- Market-driven showcase connects clean technology to global mining organizations
The Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA) is now accepting applications for the seventh annual Mining Cleantech Challenge, a market-driven innovation showcase to be held in person at the Carriage House, Governor's Residence on April 20, 2023 in Denver, Colorado.
CCIA is hosting the Mining Cleantech Challenge (MCC) in partnership with mining leaders from across the globe. The MCC provides targeted connections between mining industry operators, OEMs, and clean technology solution providers with the goal of meeting industry's needs while introducing innovative cleantech solutions to the marketplace.
Companies selected for participation in the program have the opportunity to present directly to industry experts. There are no geographic restrictions for this event; local, national, and international companies with innovative technologies may apply.
"Promoting innovation in the mining sector provides pathways to unlocking cleaner, greener and more efficient processes and resource management," said CCIA Executive Director Mary Austin. "We are pleased to collaborate with leading mining companies to foster, connect and support this important and effective platform for the discovery of new innovations for the mining sector."

CCIA's partners for this program include Sumitomo, Newmont, Fresnillo, AngloAmerican, Royal Gold, Clareo Partners, Consulate General of Canada, Colorado Energy Office, Office of Economic Development and International Trade and Colorado School of Mines.
The application process is now open for clean technology companies to showcase their innovative products and technologies. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
Interested cleantech companies will enter a competitive vetting process, after which 10-12 companies will be invited to present their technologies to major mining companies.
