COLORADO SPRINGS – Today, Governor Polis and the Global Business Development Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced that Boodlebox, the leading platform for collaborative AI in higher education, has selected Colorado Springs, Colorado, for the company's headquarters.
"We are thrilled to welcome BoodleBox to Colorado, bringing 30 new good-paying jobs to our state and making AI tools easier to use for educators and students and sparking innovation. Colorado is the best place to live, work and run a business," said Governor Polis.
The company, in partnership with Exponential Impact, will host an Exponential Beginnings celebration at XI Downtown on Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 2-3 p.m. Learn more about the celebration or RSVP.
BoodleBox provides students, faculty, and institutions with unified access to multiple premium AI models, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, LLAMA, and more, through a single, secure interface designed for responsible AI collaboration. The company's platform cuts AI operating costs and environmental impact by up to 96% while maintaining enterprise-grade security and compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
In Colorado Springs, the company will focus on tailoring its services to college professors and students to support responsible collaboration with GenAI for class preparation, classroom teaching and learning, and assessments.
"We're thrilled to establish our headquarters in Colorado Springs and celebrate this incredible partnership. The support and incentives from the Colorado Economic Development Commission as well as local leadership throughout the Pikes Peak region creates the perfect foundation for BoodleBox to scale our AI-powered educational platform. Colorado Springs embodies the innovation and growth that aligns with our mission to democratize AI tools for educators worldwide. We're proud to call this community home," said France Hoang, Founder and CEO of BoodleBox.

BoodleBox chose Colorado for the state's business-friendly environment, access to emerging tech talent, and lower operational costs while maintaining its ability to serve educational institutions and organizations nationwide. The company expects to create 30 net new jobs at an average annual wage of $104,775, which is 165% of the average annual wage in El Paso County. The positions will include sales account executives, developers, data scientists, and senior leadership.
"When companies like BoodleBox choose Colorado for expansion, they diversify our economy and further our state's reputation as a hub for innovation. We're thrilled BoodleBox will create good-paying jobs in Colorado Springs and continue to help unlock the potential of AI," said OEDIT Executive Director Eve Lieberman.
The Colorado Economic Development Commission approved up to $323,056 in a performance-based Job Growth Incentive Tax Credit for the company over an eight-year period. These incentives are contingent upon BoodleBox, referred to as Project Boggle, throughout the OEDIT review process, meeting net new job creation and salary requirements.
The City of Colorado Springs Economic Development Department will support Project Boggle with workforce development services, issue resolution assistance, and industry connections. The company also will have access to the City's Workforce Development Administrator, who offers tailored talent pipeline introductions and customized no-cost hiring support.
"We're excited to welcome BoodleBox's headquarters and growing team to Colorado Springs. Their AI-driven educational platform reflects the innovation and forward-thinking talent our region continues to attract," said Johnna Reeder Kleymeyer, Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC President and CEO. "With strong partnerships, a supportive business climate, and a deep tech workforce, Colorado Springs is the ideal place for BoodleBox to scale and shape the future of learning."
