SAN FRANCISCO - ColoradoDesk -- QView Medical, the only company with FDA-approved artificial intelligence for breast ultrasound cancer detection, today announced a strategic partnership with Eve Wellness, the first company to offer direct-to-consumer breast cancer screening.
"We see Eve Wellness as the next frontier in early detection, where AI, ultrasound, and accessibility meet to give women with dense breast tissue confidence and clarity that mammography alone can't provide," said Bob Wang, CEO and founder of QView Medical.
QView's AI platform integrates with GE's Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) system and is deployed in over 100 locations nationwide, including hospitals in Chicago, Atlanta, Salt Lake City, and Los Angeles. Clinical studies show the technology improves cancer detection, particularly in women with dense breast tissue, which can hide tumors in mammography.
"The important part of screening at Eve Wellness is the AI software that comes with it. The AI technology has gotten progressively better and better. It's been about three years since I have found a breast cancer that it wasn't able to pick up," said Dr. Ian Grady, Medical Director at Eve Wellness, on KRON4 TV
