Before joining The DiSTI Corporation, Hayward held several senior leadership roles at TRU Simulation + Training, including Senior Vice President and General Manager. As one of TRU Simulation + Training's executives responsible for new business development and operational execution for Government Solutions, John helped advance the Company's growth strategy by building and leading strong teams around him. Before TRU, John worked as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Textron Systems Support Solutions. In these roles and for much of his career, John has been focused and successful in training pilots and vehicle operators for commercial and military applications.

In John's role as DiSTI CEO, he will directly oversee all of the Company's business segments and direct its strategic growth. Responsibilities that shall include maximizing the market presence of VE Studio, the organization's virtual development training platform.

While John Hayward joins the helm of DiSTI during the COVID-19 global pandemic, he benefits from the Company's strong on-going financial performance. DiSTI's most recent significant wins include the U.S. Army's Family of Maintenance Trainers (FMT) prototype program as well as the C-RAM II Operator and Maintenance Trainer.
