DENVER ~ Denver, CO - In a continued effort to keep Coloradans safe, Governor Jared Polis and the Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) have announced the recipients of the 2025 State Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP). This program provides funding to nonprofit agencies at high risk of terrorist attacks based on ideology, beliefs, religion, or mission.

A total of 11 nonprofit agencies were awarded grants today, totaling $250,000. These grants will help these organizations make security enhancements to their facilities in order to protect their communities. Governor Polis emphasized the importance of these grants in promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all Coloradans.

"In our Colorado For All, everyone has the right to worship how you want," said Governor Polis. "Hate-driven terrorist attacks based on religion and beliefs will not be tolerated, and today's new grants will help protect some of our most at-risk communities. These security improvements will keep Coloradans safer."

DHSEM Director Kevin Klein also expressed his support for these grants and their impact on creating safer environments for all individuals.
