The American Gold Eagle series is also available in three standard fractional sizes that include 1/2 oz gold eagle, 1/4 oz Gold Eagle and the 1/10 oz Gold Eagle. Fractional gold coins are also a popular item that is often included in preps in the event of a barter situation.

The Krugerrand is the original bullion coin that was created in 1967 by the South African government as a way to encourage investment in government backed gold bullion.

For 2023, the Krugerrand series is issued in both silver and gold 1 oz coins.
