Trending...
~ The Colorado Springs City Council is set to discuss proposed changes to the city's code in order to facilitate the implementation of Ballot Question 300, which was passed by citizens in the November 2024 election. This ballot question allows for retail marijuana businesses to operate within the city limits starting in April 2025.

According to the amendments, two majority votes from present Councilmembers are required for adoption. The first vote is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 14, with the final vote expected on Jan. 28. As per the citizen-initiated ordinance, applications for retail marijuana business licenses will be accepted by the City of Colorado Springs starting on Feb. 10.
