DENVER ~ In a recent announcement, Governor Polis has appointed Tyler K. Gibson to the Baca County Court in the 15th Judicial District. This appointment comes after the previous judge, Honorable Lyudmyla Lishchuk, was appointed to the Morgan County Court. The appointment is effective immediately.

Gibson brings a wealth of experience to his new role as he has been serving as the Owner and Manager of Baca Home Care Agency since 2018 and as a Court Visitor in the 15th Judicial District since 2020. He also has a background in hospitality, having worked as a waiter and assistant manager at Longhorn Steakhouse since 2009.

In addition to his professional experience, Gibson has also been actively involved in local government. He has been serving as the Mayor of Springfield, Colorado since 2020. Prior to that, he held positions such as Manager at Baca County Personal Care Agency (2016-2018), Senior Loan Processor at Peoples Credit Union (2015-2016), and Deputy Clerk for the Baca County Clerk and Recorder and Clerk to the Baca County Commissioners (2013-2015).

Gibson obtained his B.B.A. from West Texas A&M University in 2015. With his diverse background and experience, he is well-equipped to serve as a judge in the Baca County Court.
