Colorado Palliative & Hospice Care of Colorado Springs is Proud to Announce RN Case Manager, Monika Klimas, Has Completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - ColoradoDesk -- Founded on Christian principles, Colorado Palliative & Hospice Care of Colorado Springs is a locally owned and independently operated organization dedicated to palliative and hospice care. Colorado Palliative & Hospice Care of Colorado Springs is proud to announce Monika Klimas, RN Case Manager, has graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Aspen University. Klimas provides care directly, supervises others, and functions as an RNCM in the interdisciplinary team. Klimas has over 17 years of dedicated experience in nursing and hospice.
"We are thrilled Monika has completed her BSN in Nursing. She is an incredible nurse and we look forward to continue working with her to deliver care and support to the growing senior population," said Jennifer Forrester, Executive Director.
As RN Case Manager, Klimas performs and documents care adhering to the professional, hospice, regulatory body, and nursing standards. She utilizes the nursing process in a holistic approach to identify complex patient needs and to develop creative strategies for meeting these needs. She participates actively in meeting the goals and objectives of Colorado Palliative & Hospice Care of Colorado Springs while also demonstrating an ongoing commitment to her own professional growth. Klimas obtained her RN from Colorado Community College and BSN from Aspen University. She has previously worked as a CNA for Pikes Peak Hospice, a Pediatric Nurse, Surgical/Trauma/GI at Memorial Central and RN at Grandview Hospital.
