DENVER - ColoradoDesk -- Sploot Veterinary Care and Denver Union Station are thrilled to announce the return of Paws With Pride, a vibrant, tail-wagging celebration of dogs, Pride, and community spirit - on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Terminal Bar Patio at Denver Union Station.
Back by popular demand for a second year, this joyful and free event welcomes pets and people of all backgrounds to come together in celebration of love, diversity, and our furry companions. The afternoon will feature a Doggie Drag Fashion Show hosted by local favorite Talia Tucker at 1:30 p.m., free pet portraits courtesy of Denver Pet Pics, fun raffles and giveaways plus a dog-centric vendor village — all in support of a powerful cause.
This year, Sploot is proud to spotlight Canine Partners of the Rockies, a Colorado-based nonprofit that trains and matches service dogs with people with disabilities, enhancing mobility, independence, and dignity. A $5 suggested donation to enter the doggie drag show directly benefits their mission. Since 2002, Canine Partners has been transforming lives through specialized training, personalized placements, and lifelong support—all provided without placement fees.

"As a gay-owned company, Pride is personal," said Gil Bolotin, co-founder of Sploot Veterinary Care. "We believe building a strong, compassionate community begins with how we care for our teams, our clients, and our pets. Events like Paws With Pride allow us to celebrate that love and inclusivity publicly—and joyfully."
At Sploot, we're committed to cultivating an inclusive, affirming culture—not only for our clients, but for the talented and diverse team members who power our care every day. We believe that when people can bring their full selves to work, great things happen—for pets, for pet parents, and for our communities.
Denver Union Station is equally proud to serve as a community hub for connection, celebration, and safe gathering spaces. Terminal Bar will be offering specials during the event, and local vendors will be on-site with giveaways, shopping, and more.
Whether you're coming for the costumes, the community, or the canines—Paws With Pride promises a tail-wagging good time.
