The series, hosted by Jill Adler Grano, a third-generation Real Estate Agent and Boulder Housing Commissioner, and Sam Fuqua, a long-time editor with KNGU and a housing advocate, delves into the intricate and dynamic world of housing and real estate in Boulder.
The inaugural episode, which aired recently, took listeners on a journey through the history of Boulder housing, setting the stage for a series of enlightening discussions. Future episodes will cover a wide range of topics including second homes, vacant taxes, corporate ownership, barriers to housing construction, and the challenges faced by manufactured home communities, among other pressing issues.
Jill brings a wealth of experience and dedication to this program. She balances her thriving real estate career with numerous roles in public service and academia. Jill is not only one of Boulder's Housing Commissioners but also a research assistant for the University of Colorado's Boulder Affordable Housing Research Initiative (BAHRI). She chairs Congressman Joe Neguse's Small Business Advisory Council, serves on the CU Center for Leadership Board of Directors, and is a member of the Sierra Club Political Committee.

She has fought for safe, just housing in mobile home communities, served on the board of Thistle, volunteered at the Boulder Homeless Shelter, and contributed to the Board of Zoning Adjustment.
