National infusion purchasing and healthcare services organization recognized in the Outstanding Healthcare Organization category for its work strengthening independent providers and preserving access to infusion care
DALLAS - ColoradoDesk -- Infinity Infusion Solutions (IIS), a North Texas-based specialized purchasing organization and medical consultancy dedicated to strengthening independent infusion providers and preserving patient access to care, has been named a finalist in D CEO's 2026 Excellence in Healthcare Awards in the Outstanding Healthcare Organization category.
Now in its 13th year, D CEO's Excellence in Healthcare Awards honor healthcare leaders and organizations making a significant impact on the industry and the North Texas economy. More than 200 nominations were submitted for the 2026 program, with 77 finalists selected by D CEO editors and outside judges with healthcare expertise.
The honor comes as IIS approaches its 11th anniversary and continues to expand its national support of infusion practices. The women-founded and women-owned organization now serves more than 2,700 member infusion sites across all 50 states, helping providers navigate the increasingly complex financial, operational and reimbursement realities of infusion care.

At the heart of that work is a commitment to helping patients receive the therapies they need from trusted providers in accessible settings close to home.
"Being named a finalist for Outstanding Healthcare Organization is especially meaningful because it reflects the mission that has guided IIS from the beginning," said Tamra Townsend, CEO and Co-Founder of Infinity Infusion Solutions. "We built IIS around a simple belief: independent providers should be able to remain independent, and patients should be able to receive the therapies they need from providers they know and trust. More than a decade later, that belief still drives every decision we make. To have the work our team and the providers we serve recognized here in North Texas is an incredible honor."
Founded in 2015 by Tamra Townsend and Katie Ivy, President, COO and Co-Founder, IIS was built around a different approach to healthcare purchasing—one created specifically for the needs of infusion practices operating outside the hospital setting. Independent of the healthcare supply chain by design, IIS is positioned to advocate for providers without being tied to a distributor or manufacturer. Beyond negotiated drug pricing, IIS supports its members through strategic contracting, operational guidance, reimbursement and market insights, technology resources, education and advocacy designed to strengthen sustainable buy-and-bill care.
The IIS model reflects a core belief that a strong independent infusion sector is essential to preserving patient choice, continuity of therapy and reliable access to care.

"As the infusion landscape becomes more complex, providers need more than a purchasing contract," said Ivy. "They need a partner that understands the realities of operating an infusion practice and how those challenges can affect the patients they serve. This honor belongs to our entire team and to the providers and industry partners who have trusted IIS to work alongside them. We are proud of how far we have come and remain focused on helping build a stronger future for independent infusion care."
IIS is one of five organizations named finalists in the Outstanding Healthcare Organization category. D CEO's 2026 Excellence in Healthcare Awards finalists will be featured in the publication's December issue and honored at a private awards event on December 10, when winners in each category will be announced.
