PUEBLO ~ Today, President Joe Biden is visiting Pueblo, Colorado, accompanied by Governor Jared Polis and other officials. The visit will take place at the CS Wind plant.

Governor Polis expressed his enthusiasm for the visit in a statement: "We are thrilled to welcome President Joe Biden to Pueblo, the home of heroes and the best chile in the world — the Pueblo chile. Colorado is leading the nation in transitioning to 100 percent renewable energy, and our wind manufacturing capabilities are helping to power our clean energy economy, create jobs, and save people money on electricity."

The Governor also mentioned his support for the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act and his goal of achieving 100% renewable energy in Colorado by 2040. In April, Governor Polis joined CS Wind for the official groundbreaking of their new wind manufacturing plant in Pueblo.

President Biden's visit is an important step towards furthering Colorado's efforts to improve infrastructure and transportation options for its citizens.
