The academy was recently awarded the Governor's Bright Spot Award for its outstanding academic achievements.

During his visit, Governor Polis discussed Colorado's progress in creating more affordable housing options and expanding transit access at the Vision Zero 2024 Conference in New York. He emphasized the importance of breaking down barriers and providing Coloradans with the freedom to build Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) on their own property.
