~ Colorado Springs, CO - After months of closure for an ice rebuild and facility maintenance project, Sertich Ice Center has officially reopened its doors to the community. The center is now welcoming visitors back with public skating sessions and the return of its popular Learn to Skate program, which will begin on July 25.
The ice rebuild was a crucial step in ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations at Sertich Ice Center. Not only did it provide a fresh new surface for skaters to enjoy, but it also allowed staff to complete important maintenance tasks that will enhance the overall skating experience for visitors.
"We're thrilled to welcome everyone back to Sertich Ice Center," said Andrew Rummel, parks operations administrator for the center. "We invite both returning and first-time skaters to come out and enjoy the fresh ice. Whether you're looking for a fun public skate or want to improve your skills through our Learn to Skate program, now is the perfect time to hit the ice."
