SANBORN, N.Y. - ColoradoDesk -- Studica Robotics recently partnered with WorldSkills Jamaica to deliver an intensive international training camp focused on Autonomous Mobile Robotics (AMR) and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), helping competitors prepare for the 48th WorldSkills Competition in Shanghai, China, in September 2026.

The five-day invitational training camp brought together competitors and experts from Jamaica, Brazil, Barbados, China, and Singapore for hands-on training using the same technologies, systems, and competition methodologies they will encounter on the world stage.

Participants progressed from system setup and assembly to autonomous navigation, drone flight operations, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation. The program was designed to strengthen both technical and teamwork skills while simulating the demands of international competition.

The robotics training event utilized the official WorldSkills Autonomous Mobile Robotics Collection and the Studica WS500 Quadcopter Kit, giving participants hands-on experience with industry-relevant robotics and drone technologies.
