~ Colorado Springs' Sertich Ice Center will be temporarily closing its doors from June 19 to July 12 for an ice rebuild project and facility maintenance. This closure will affect all public skating sessions, drop-in activities, and ice programs. However, the facility is expected to reopen on July 13.
The ice rebuild project is a crucial step in replacing the current ice surface and ensuring safe and efficient operations. Along with this, the staff will also be completing important facility maintenance to enhance the overall skating experience for the community.

According to Park Operations Administrator Andrew Rummel, these improvements are a significant investment in the long-term quality of the facility and the community's skating experience. He also expressed gratitude for the community's patience during this closure and looks forward to welcoming everyone back to a refreshed ice surface and improved facility this summer.
