~ The City of Colorado Springs has announced plans to temporarily close a section of Las Vegas Street under Circle Drive from Friday, March 14 to Friday, March 21. This closure will also include the weekend of March 15-16. The purpose of this closure is to allow work crews to build the base for a new railroad bridge.
However, the specific dates and times of the closure may be subject to change due to weather or other construction delays. To avoid any inconvenience, northbound travelers are advised to use Highway 85 North/Venetucci Boulevard to access alternative routes. Southbound traffic can utilize Janitell Road and find alternative routes via Circle Drive.
