~ As part of the ongoing Circle Drive Bridges project, two eastbound lanes on Circle Drive will be closed between I-25 and Janitell Road starting Wednesday. This closure is necessary for crews to install a waterline in the area.
According to project officials, the lane closures are expected to last until mid-July, depending on weather conditions and progress. However, one eastbound lane will remain open for through traffic. Commuters are advised to plan for extra travel time and anticipate delays in the affected area.
In addition to the lane closures, there will also be other traffic impacts in the surrounding area. The outside left-turn lane from the southbound I-25 off-ramp to eastbound Circle Drive will be closed, with only one left-turn lane remaining open. The left-turn lane from southbound Janitell Road to eastbound Circle Drive will also be closed, with a detour in place to redirect traffic.
