Partnership with Global Wellness Institute Amplifies Research-Backed Leadership Platform Through Global Health Initiative
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - ColoradoDesk -- Wisdom Works Group, a social enterprise that empowers leaders to make thriving a new standard of success in business and society, announces a strategic alliance with the Global Wellness Institute (GWI) to advance "The Wellness Moonshot: A World Free of Preventable Disease."
Launched by GWI at the 2017 Global Wellness Summit, The Wellness Moonshot mobilizes leaders worldwide to confront the staggering reality that 69% of annual deaths are caused by preventable diseases. Since then, the initiative has reached more than 5,300 organizations and 160 million people globally.
The new alliance combines Wisdom Works' expertise in delivering research-backed leadership transformation with GWI's global wellness advocacy network, amplifying efforts to prevent disease and embed wellness into the very fabric of how leaders and organizations succeed, fostering resilience, growth, and thriving for all.

"At Wisdom Works, our mission is to put human thriving at the center of how leaders, organizations, and communities operate," said Renee Moorefield, CEO of Wisdom Works Group and Board Member of the Global Wellness Institute. "This partnership allows us to scale thriving like never before. When leaders prioritize their own wellbeing, they create ripple effects that transform entire organizations and communities."
The partnership was announced during The Wellness Moonshot Full Moon Celebration on August 12, co-hosted by the Global Wellness Institute and Wisdom Works, featuring former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Richard Carmona and strategic tourism leader Dr. Aradhana Khowala. Both leaders shared compelling insights and practical actions for uniting changemakers around a shared vision of prevention and wellbeing.
Research from Wisdom Works' Be Well Lead Well® platform shows that leader wellbeing explains 34% of their reported impact—evidence of the critical link between thriving and leadership effectiveness. With organizations worldwide awakening to the reality that employee wellbeing drives performance, innovation, and resilience, this collaboration signals a bold new approach: equipping leaders with the capacity to drive systemic change in global health.
