DENVER ~ Denver, CO - Serve Colorado, a program managed within the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, has recently released its highly anticipated 2023 Impact Report. This comprehensive report highlights the organization's significant growth and achievements over the past year, showcasing its commitment to addressing critical challenges in the state through innovative programs and strategic partnerships.
Lieutenant Governor Dianne Primavera expressed her excitement for the release of the report, stating that "Colorado continues to be a national leader when it comes to AmeriCorps service." She went on to commend the dedication and resilience of Colorado AmeriCorps members and program staff, who have made a profound difference in communities across the state. The 2023 Impact Report details Serve Colorado's remarkable accomplishments, including the service of over 1,300 AmeriCorps members who collectively contributed over one million hours across 637 service sites. This impressive effort reflects Serve Colorado's dedication to fostering community resilience and addressing critical needs throughout Colorado.

Some key highlights from the report include the launch of Serve Colorado's three-year State Service Plan in February 2023. This plan is designed to align with the priorities of Governor Polis and Lieutenant Governor Primavera's administration and focuses on equity, partnership engagement, workforce development, and transparent communication.
In April 2023, Serve Colorado made history by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Colorado National Guard. This partnership is the first of its kind nationwide and aims to enhance recruitment channels and career pathways for both Guard and AmeriCorps members.
In November 2023, Serve Colorado introduced a new Quality Credentialing Framework at the national AmeriCorps Symposium. This framework enhances service-based learning structures and integrates stackable credentials into AmeriCorps service terms, aligning with workforce development needs across the state.
To coincide with the release of the 2023 Impact Report, Serve Colorado has also shared a special compilation video featuring the voices of AmeriCorps members and program staff. This video provides an intimate glimpse into the heart of their programs and highlights why they love to serve and their deep passion for AmeriCorps.
