The partnership will connect FEI Canada's network of 1,100+ senior financial executives with charitable boards through Altruvest's BoardMatch™ program
TORONTO - ColoradoDesk -- Altruvest Charitable Services, a registered Canadian charity and operator of the BoardMatch™ program, and Financial Executives International Canada (FEI Canada), the leading professional association for senior financial executives in Canada, have announced a strategic partnership to connect FEI Canada's membership with volunteer board opportunities at local charities and nonprofits across the country.
Through this partnership, FEI Canada members, including Chief Financial Officers, Controllers, Treasurers, and other senior finance leaders, will gain streamlined access to Altruvest's BoardMatch™ program, which recruits, trains, and matches qualified professionals with charitable boards in need of financial expertise. The collaboration addresses a critical gap in the nonprofit sector, where sound financial governance is essential yet often difficult to secure.

"FEI Canada members bring decades of financial leadership experience to the table, and this partnership creates a meaningful pathway for them to channel that expertise into the charitable sector," said Howard Kerbal, Executive Director, FEI Canada.
"FEI Canada is honoured to partner with Altruvest. By leveraging the financial acumen of our National members, we are uniquely positioned to support the strengthening of nonprofit governance and leadership across the country" said Winnie Leung, Chief Financial Officer, Beanfield and Chair of the FEI Canada Board.
For more than 25 years, Altruvest's BoardMatch™ program has placed over 5,000 volunteers onto charitable boards and committees across Canada. The program provides end-to-end support — from governance training to personalized matching — ensuring that both volunteers and charities find the right fit. With approximately 80% of Canadian charities being small or medium-sized organizations, access to experienced financial talent at the board level can be transformative.
