SEDONA, Ariz. - ColoradoDesk -- "In 2023, the intellectually unconstrained Avi Loeb released photos of microscopic metallic fragments found in a meteor that exploded off the coast of Papua New Guinea in 2014 and postulated that evidence of extraterrestrial life could be found in meteorites," according to Mark Zamoyski, the Permian Museum's curator.

"A big take-away from Avi Loeb's approach was that in the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life, we don't need to spend trillions on space travel to do take-out. The universe delivers," Mark Zamoyski continued.

"Carbonaceous chondrites formed by accretion 4.5 Ba in our early solar system. They are made up of supernova ejecta and apparently also other planetary ejecta."

"The photos we released earlier this year focused on the fossilized extraterrestrial plants and early extraterrestrial life forms found on or in these types of meteorites. The current batch we are posting appear to be artifacts made by more advanced life forms, and not likely made by natural processes."

"The important take-away from the artifacts is that there could be a civilization out there that had a 4.5 billion year head start on us, provided they survived the event that caused the planetary ejecta," Mark Zamoyski concluded.

"As a note to hobby meteorite hunters, if you have a carbonaceous chondrite meteorite, all you need is a good 1,200 X digital microscope (e.g. Bebang from Walmart for ~ $150) and a stone saw to see if anything is on or inside your time capsule from the universe. Or you can just keep looking at an unremarkable rock sitting on your shelf for the rest of your life," Mark added.
