Navy Veteran to Receive New Malarkey Vista Class 4 Impact-Resistant Roof System
LONGMONT, Colo. - ColoradoDesk -- GreenPoint Roofing, a leading Longmont-based roofing contractor, is proud to announce the selection of U.S. Navy veteran Michael Leon as the recipient of their 7th annual Veterans Day roof donation. The installation of a premium Malarkey Vista Class 4 impact-resistant roofing system is scheduled for Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, 2024.
Mr. Leon, a Longmont resident, served in the United States Navy from 1985 to 1991, where he distinguished himself as an Interior Communications Electrician aboard two legendary vessels: the USS New Jersey and the USS Fletcher. His military service included deployment during Operation Desert Storm, where he was responsible for critical systems including navigation, ship's control, and gyrocompass operations.
