Thomas, candidate for Governor of Colorado, today unveiled his comprehensive Education Reform That Builds Futures plan — a cornerstone of his Colorado First agenda — aimed at transforming the state's public education system to prepare every student for real-world success, not just test performance.

The plan focuses on four key pillars:

1. Equitable School Funding: Ensuring every child in Colorado — regardless of ZIP code — has access to quality education and modern resources.
2. Financial Literacy and Real-World Learning: Integrating entrepreneurship, money management, and civic responsibility into K-12 curricula.
3. Vocational and STEM Expansion: Building pathways to trade, technology, and innovation through new programs in high schools and correctional facilities alike.
4. Teacher Investment: Raising educator pay and providing classroom resources to recruit and retain Colorado's best teachers.

Thomas emphasized that the plan isn't about bureaucracy — it's about empowerment.
