DENVER ~ Denver- In a somber announcement today, Governor Jared Polis has ordered all flags to be lowered to half-staff in honor of former Colorado State Senator Keith King. The memorial service for King, who passed away recently, is yet to be determined.

Governor Polis expressed his deep sadness upon hearing the news of King's passing. He praised the late senator for his unwavering dedication to public service, evident in his time serving in Colorado's General Assembly and on the Colorado Springs City Council. King's impact also extended to education, as he played a crucial role in creating the Colorado Early College program, providing more students with access to quality education.
