~ In a press release issued today, Mayor Yemi Mobolade and Colorado Springs City Clerk Sarah Johnson announced the certification of the 2025 Special Election results. The official results can now be accessed on the city's website at ColoradoSprings.gov/ElectionResults.
The special election, which took place on June 17, had a post-election period that lasted until April 25. This allowed for military and overseas citizens' ballots to arrive and gave voters with signature discrepancies or unsigned ballots time to cure their votes. After 5 p.m. on April 25, election judges processed these additional ballots.
