The excitement kicks off on Monday, June 2 with the start of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb testing. The Pikes Peak Highway will resume normal operations at 8:30am. For more information on this event, visit www.ppihc.org.
On Friday, June 6, Pikes Peak will also be celebrating National Donut Day with a special event called "Leave No Crumbs". From 9am to 1pm, visitors can participate in an interactive "Donut Day Passport" and learn about water pollution, local wildlife, and the history of Pikes Peak donuts at Crystal Reservoir, Glen Cove, and the Summit. Donuts will also be available for purchase at all three locations. This event is free to attend but requires a timed entry permit or shuttle ticket.
