The CBO discusses key healthcare issues with panel members and seeks their advice on developments in healthcare delivery, financing, studies, and research. Through these efforts, CBO analyses can benefit from the advisers' understanding and expertise.
In selecting members for the panel, the CBO looks for widely recognized experts on the topic and seeks suggestions from Congressional staff and the people whose work the CBO uses in its analyses. The Office works to select panelists with a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
Commissioner Conway will serve a three-year term and can be reappointed at the end of that term, and will continue to serve as Colorado's Insurance Commissioner.
