DENVER ~ In a recent announcement, the Governor of Colorado has appointed Pamela E. Johnston to serve as a judge in the Kiowa County Court within the 15th Judicial District. This appointment comes after the retirement of the Honorable Gary W. Davis and will officially begin on September 1, 2024.

Ms. Johnston brings a diverse background to her new role, having previously worked as a cattle rancher and an Associate English Professor at Lansing Community College in Michigan from 2003 to 2014. She also served as an Adjunct Professor at Lansing Community College from 2002 to 2003, an Associate Faculty Member at Michigan State University from 2007 to 2008, an Adjunct Faculty Member at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Arizona from 1995 to 1998, and an Associate Faculty Member at Arizona State University from 1995 to 1996.
