According to Jonathan Jachimiec, trustee and interim president and CEO of Morris Animal Foundation, Nicoll's impressive track record of building innovative and mission-focused organizations immediately stood out to them. Prior to joining Morris Animal Foundation, Nicoll served as CEO and board member of US Retina. During his tenure, he successfully led a company-wide restructuring and guided the organization through a successful sale to McKesson Corp. Under his leadership, US Retina saw significant growth in purchasing volume, built a market-leading analytics platform, and increased revenue through commercial realignment.

Nicoll's career also includes leading Cancer Clinics of Excellence, a national network of oncology practices focused on delivering cost-effective and high-quality care. In this role, he collaborated with prominent clinical and technology organizations such as Oregon Health & Science University, Intel, and various venture-backed startups on go-to-market strategy, business model innovation, and clinical data management.

With an executive background spanning Fortune 500 companies and healthcare startups alike - including IBM Global Services, AmerisourceBergen, and Franklin Covey - Nicoll brings a wealth of experience to his new role at Morris Animal Foundation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Bucknell University.
