Mayor seeking volunteer to serve on Colorado Springs Housing Authority Board of Commissioners

~ Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi has announced that the city is currently seeking applications for a vacant seat on the Colorado Springs Housing Authority (CSHA) Board of Commissioners. The CSHA's main objective is to provide affordable housing options for residents of Colorado Springs.

The board is made up of seven members who bring a diverse range of skills and expertise to the table. These include backgrounds in finance, architecture, project development, real estate, and property management. This diverse mix allows the board to effectively oversee and govern the operations of the CSHA.

Commissioners are appointed for four-year terms and are eligible to serve two consecutive terms. The board holds monthly meetings on the third Thursday of every month at 2:30 p.m., with the exception of July and December.

Interested individuals can submit their applications and resumes until 5:00 p.m. on March 19 through ColoradoSprings.gov/Boards. More information about the CSHA can be found on their website at csha.us/.
