Forecasted $4.5 Million Economic Boost For Record Breaking Tournament Attendance
OLATHE, Kan. - ColoradoDesk -- Heartland Soccer is thrilled to announce the upcoming Midwest All Boys Tournament, set to take place from September 22-24, 2023. This eagerly anticipated event has already sold out, with over 255 teams preparing to vie for victory at the esteemed Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex, the premier soccer venue in the region.
Now in its fourth year, the Midwest All Boys Tournament has firmly established itself as a flagship fixture in the fall season. This tournament proudly showcases a lineup of participants hailing from diverse corners of the Midwest. The roster includes ECNL, NPL, State, and Regional Champion teams from seven states, making the Midwest All Boys Tournament a highlight of the season.
Anticipation is running high as players, supporters, and spectators converge from the Kansas City metropolitan area and beyond, contributing to an estimated economic impact of $4.5 million over the course of the weekend.
Shane Hackett, Executive Director of Heartland Soccer, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "The Midwest All Boys Tournament has earned its reputation as a premier regional event. We are delighted to once again extend our warm welcome to teams from across the Midwest this weekend. Our regional tournaments continue to thrive as teams from multiple states choose our world-class facilities and compete on our exceptional fields."
Considering the importance of local media to our sport, media representatives are invited to cover the tournament. The action kicks off on Friday, September 22 with the first set of games scheduled for 5:30 PM. Saturday and Sunday will see games commence around 8:00 AM, followed by award ceremonies starting shortly after noon on Sunday.

The Heartland Soccer Fall Tournament Series, consisting of seven remarkable tournaments, will conclude the season with three final tournaments following the Midwest All Boys event. These include the Midwest All Girls Tournament, closely followed by the Heartland Invitational Tournaments. Heartland Soccer will host a Skills Challenge event on the Saturday of tournament weekend (September 23, 10am-5pm) at Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex. This competition is perfect for players of all ages and skill levels. Participants will have the opportunity to compete in various challenges, encompassing dribbling, shooting, and passing competitions. Now, every field at GOSC is equipped to live stream games or provide on-demand viewing. These state-of-the-art cameras enable distant family and friends to stay connected with the action, players to review their own performance, and coaches to conduct comprehensive scouting and game analysis. It's a game-changing development that promises to enhance the soccer experience for everyone involved!
