Automotive dealerships using Cox Automotive's Dealertrack DMS can now automate automotive glass and recalibration jobs with eDirectGlass.
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - ColoradoDesk -- eDirectGlass (eDG), the definitive industry leader, innovator, and disruptor of automotive glass repair and replacement technology and services, today announces it has become a certified Opentrack Partner to provide data integration with Cox Automotive's Dealertrack DMS, a leading provider of technology solutions for automotive dealerships. This first of a kind integration for automotive glass services will benefit both dealership customers and independent automotive glass shops by automating all aspects of the automotive glass repair, replacement, and calibration services scheduling, invoicing, and more.
"As the complexity of automotive glass services continues to grow, dealerships are struggling to offer these services either in-house or through relationships with independent automotive glass shops. This new integration with eDirectGlass will allow these parties to seamlessly work together electronically from the dealership service writer to the financial department and even with the vehicle owner," said Gary Hart, Founder and Technology Evangelist of eDirectGlass.
With eDirectGlass and DealerTrack DMS, automotive dealerships and their trading partners can automate automotive glass repair, replacement, and calibration services from start to finish that increase efficiency and profitability across their operations. eDirectGlass automatically processes, in real-time, job scheduling, purchase orders, process notification, and final invoice detail between the glass shop and across the dealership's locations. Additionally, eDirectGlass integration and implementation can be tailored to a dealership's unique business model for optimal efficiency, cost savings, standardization, and vehicle owner satisfaction.
