~ As the construction project on South Tejon Street and South Nevada Avenue nears completion, motorists can expect smoother traffic flow in Downtown Colorado Springs. According to a press release from the city, all southbound lanes of South Tejon Street will reopen on Wednesday, Feb. 5, followed by the reopening of all northbound lanes of South Nevada Avenue on Wednesday, Feb. 26. These routes will be the most efficient options for drivers traveling to and from Downtown. The new traffic pattern will also allow crews to complete necessary work for the project's final stages. However, the schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions.
