~ The 13th annual Mayor's Cup golf tournament is now open for registration, announced by the Mayor's office. The highly anticipated event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 10 at The Broadmoor Golf Club's West Course, with a start time of 7:15 a.m.
Since its inception in 2012, the charity tournament has raised an impressive $675,000 for the community. These funds have been used to award scholarships to local students pursuing degrees in public safety at Pikes Peak State College. Additionally, the tournament also supports First Tee - Southern Colorado and the Mayor's Spirit of Colorado Springs initiatives.
