~ The City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department is gearing up for its final Motorless Morning event of the season at Garden of the Gods Park. On Sunday, October 6, visitors can enjoy a car-free experience in the park from 5 a.m. to noon.
This special event, which is free and open to the public, aims to eliminate motor vehicle access within the park. During this time, all park rules and regulations, including speed limits, will still apply. However, skateboards and longboards are welcome on park roads.
To ensure safety for all visitors, designated slow zones and one-way traffic will be in place. Pedestrians are encouraged to walk on the right side of the road while leaving the left side open for cyclists and passing.
