~ As the winter snow begins to melt and the temperatures rise, Pikes Peak - America's Mountain is preparing for a busy season ahead. On April 1, shuttle tickets and timed entry permits will go on sale, signaling the start of an exciting time for both locals and visitors looking to explore this iconic mountain.
Skyler Rorabaugh, the manager of Pikes Peak - America's Mountain, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming season. "We are excited to offer expanded shuttle stops this year, making it easier for everyone to access the stunning views and experiences that Pikes Peak has to offer," he said. "We anticipate a busy season filled with adventure and memorable moments for all."
The shuttle service will operate daily from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., starting on May 23 through August 10. Guests can park at Mile 7 and board shuttles that will transport them to various key stops along the scenic route. These stops include Crystal Creek Reservoir, Mile 7 Parking Area, Glen Cove Inn, Devils Playground, and Pikes Peak Summit.
In addition to shuttle tickets, timed entry permits will also be available for purchase starting April 1. These permits are required for visitors who wish to drive their personal vehicles on the Pikes Peak Highway from May 23 through September 30. The permit fee remains at $2.

As Pikes Peak - America's Mountain continues to attract more visitors each year, adjustments in fees have become necessary in order to manage increased demand for services and maintain facilities and infrastructure while preserving natural resources. The new rates will be in effect from May 1 through November 30.
General admission prices have been adjusted as follows:
- Adults (16 and over): $18
- Children (6-15): $8
- Carload Discount Rate (up to 5 passengers): $65
- Additional adults in carload: $13 per adult
- Additional children in carload: $5 per child
Annual passes are also available for purchase:
- Pikes Peak 5 Trip Pass: $165
- Pikes Peak '14er Pass: $130
- Pikes Peak Premier Individual Pass: $130
- Pikes Peak Premier Vehicle Pass: $240
For those who prefer to take the shuttle, rates are as follows:
- Adults (16 and over): $35
- Children (6-15): $10
- Additional child rate (3 or more children): $5 per child
On May 1, the North Slope Recreation Area (NSRA) along the Pikes Peak Highway, including Crystal Creek Reservoir, will open for the season. Summit reservations will not be required for those only visiting the NSRA, but a daily entry ticket of $5 per guest is required. Children under 16 can enter for free without a reservation. Due to limited parking at the NSRA, a daily entry parking permit of $1 is also required and can be reserved online or obtained on a first-come, first-served basis at the Pikes Peak Highway Gateway.

It should be noted that due to a repair project on the South Catamount Reservoir Dam by Colorado Springs Utilities, both North and South Catamount reservoirs will remain closed to vehicles for the 2021 season. However, hiking access to North Catamount Reservoir is still available via the Catamount Recreation Area Trailhead in Teller County. A Colorado fishing license is required for those 16 and older planning to fish in Crystal Creek and North Catamount Reservoirs.

From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, hours will be extended from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Guests must adhere to all posted rules and regulations.
