Colorado Palliative & Hospice Care Receives Partner Level Two From We Honor Veterans
Colorado Palliative & Hospice Care is proud to have been awarded Partner Level Two with the We Honor Veterans Community Partner program. We Honor Veterans partners are able to recognize the unique needs of America's Veterans and their families as well as accompany and guide Veterans through their life stories toward a more peaceful ending. Founded on Christian principles, Colorado Palliative & Hospice Care is a locally owned and independently operated organization dedicated to palliative and hospice care. They are focused on exceeding patients' individual medical, emotional and spiritual needs, while making each remaining moment as meaningful as possible.

"Our team members are end-of-life experts who have received education and training on identifying, assessing and meeting the needs of Veterans and their families from the time of referral through bereavement services. Many thanks to our coordinator, Mary Ozanic, for ensuring we continued to grow in our efforts to reach and serve more veterans," said Phillip Hill, Chief Executive Officer of Colorado Palliative & Hospice Care.
The goal of accomplishing these levels is to provide the best quality of care to those who have served our country. Colorado Palliative & Hospice Care partners with the Veterans Administration, the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), other local organizations and participates in local events to serve our nation's heroes in their time of need. They have created Veteran-specific educational material and presentations to staff, volunteers and the community.
"We are honored to have been awarded our Level Two recognition for our efforts," said Mary Ozanic, Volunteer Coordinator.
