Colorado: Lieutenant Governor Primavera Appoints Sabrina D. James to the Kiowa County Court

DENVER ~ In a recent announcement, the Lieutenant Governor of Colorado has appointed Sabrina D. James to the Kiowa County Court in the 15th Judicial District. This decision was made under her authority as acting Governor, in accordance with Article IV, § 13 of the Colorado Constitution. The appointment comes after the resignation of former Judge Pamela E. Johnston and is effective immediately.

Ms. James brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having served as a teacher at Eads High School and an Adjunct Professor at Lamar Community College since 2008. Prior to that, she held teaching positions at Karval School District and Rocky Ford High School, as well as serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Lamar Community College.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Colorado State University Pueblo in 2002 and 2012, respectively. With her extensive experience in education and dedication to her community, Ms. James is well-equipped to serve on the Kiowa County Court bench.
