Colorado: InnerFrame Launches in La Plata County, Advancing Mental Wellness and Job Creation through Rural Jump-Start Program

DURANGO ~ Durango, Colorado - InnerFrame, a media technology company based in Durango, has been accepted into the Rural Jump-Start Program by the Business Funding & Incentives Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT). This program aims to support businesses in rural areas and contribute to the state's economic growth.

Governor Jared Polis expressed his support for InnerFrame's acceptance into the program, stating that it will bring good-paying jobs to the region and contribute to Colorado's tech industry through its digital innovations. Over the next four years, InnerFrame plans to create more than 20 high-quality jobs in La Plata County with wages exceeding the regional average. As they continue developing their AI-powered tools, they also plan to support individual well-being and contribute to the region's growing tech ecosystem.

As the first company in La Plata County accepted into the Rural Jump-Start Program, InnerFrame is eligible for significant tax benefits such as relief from state business income tax, sales and use tax, and local business personal property taxes. Eligible employees will also receive a state personal income tax exemption. Additionally, the company will receive $15,000 in grant funding to support the launch of its operations. These benefits aim to encourage economic development and job creation in economically distressed, rural counties of Colorado.

Regional partners, including the Region 9 Economic Development District and the Southwest Colorado Accelerator Program for Entrepreneurs (SCAPE), played a vital role in identifying InnerFrame as a candidate for the Rural Jump-Start Program. They will continue to support the company's long-term success.
